A Fractal View of Belonging via.
This is a quick email to let everyone know that I will be going ahead with the virtual hangout and salon discussion I mentioned in last week’s vocab.
Virtua Playgrounds will be hosted on my Throne chat room which should be accessible via that link. I am hoping we can talk about supporting each other in our various local spaces, ways of belonging, organising, and on a foundational level, how we relate with our inner selves, all in the context of the fact that we are part of a rich and diverse planet we co-habit with millions of other beings and non-beings.
A lot of this is inspired by thinking I have been doing regarding the Mass protocol I mentioned in the last newsletter, some work I had done around similar issues of community solidarity and currencies a few years back and Richard D. Bartlett’s work on microsolidarity.
The conversation is not meant to be high level with lots of jargon so I encourage everyone to participate if you have the time even if you believe you have no knowledge about the topic. There is a lot we can talk about inspired by our current experiences as most of us are working from home and testing the strengths and richness of our various social networks.
Details are below, and I look forward to meeting and hosting some of you in a few days.
Virtua Playgrounds
• Time - 3:00pm - 5:00pm (West African Time)
• Date - 29th March, 2020
• Link to chat Room - Click here
If this goes well, I would love to have Virtua Playgrounds become a regular event that happens on the Sundays between Vocab entries.
Stay safe and take care of yourselves physically, mentally and spiritually ✌🏾.
